Arashi toppled the top two in first-half ranking sales!~

It’s a big success for Arashi again this year since they had been on the top for two consecutive year!
Music sales ranking for the first-half of 2010 had been revealed by Oricon where #1 and #2 are singles from Arashi, Troublemaker (688,000 copies) and Monster (654,000). Before this, only Pink Lady and Hikaru Genji had achieved the #1 and #2, but Arashi is the only one who had it in two years in a row!
AKB48 is in the #3 and #5 with Ponytail to Chouchou (577,000 copies) and Sakura no Shiori (381,000 copies), while KAT-TUN’s Love yourself ;Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki landed in between them (440,000 copies).

For album chart, Namie Amuro is on the top with her PAST < FUTURE (566,000 copies). Followed by FUNKY MONKEY BABYS, TVXQ, and Ikimono Gakari.

For DVD, Micheal Jackson’s ‘THIS IS IT’ is leading with 789,000 copies sold. Arashi is on #2 with their ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5×10 (688,000 copies).
